Complete beginners are able to attend this course without any previous massage qualifications. You will receive a certificate of attendance and a full manual for easy reference.

What you will learn on the day?

You will spend most of the learning a practical routine, and learn how this can be adapted. We will be covering Theory and Health and Safety as well as learning about contraindications to the treatment. Techniques will be practised on each other so everyone will get to have a go and know what it feels like.

The topics which are covered in the Introduction to Massage Course are:

 • The benefits of Massage

•  Contraindications

•  Massage mediums

•  Massage movements

•  Massage techniques and sequence

•  Aftercare

All students will have the techniques demonstrated to them, and will both give and receive the massage.
